I often get the question, when do you know that you need to hire a TC or transaction coordinator? And that is entirely independent of each person because some people can handle way more and other people's capacity is not as great.

Now, what happens is customer service starts to slip. That's when you know you need help, and that's when you should hire a TC because you're going to start missing details, you're going to miss deadlines, you're not going to be able to get the exposure that you need for yourself, your listings, and you're just going to miss things, and that's when you know you need help.

The transaction coordinator, the benefit of having one is they buy back your time so you can focus on what is most important, and that's the client.

Now, one of the things about being on your own versus being on a team is yeah, you might make a little bit more with your commission split if you're on your own, but at the end of the day, you got to think about all the people that you're going to hire that you don't need to hire if you're on a team, because on a team, a lot of times all those things are covered for you.
