Pink Gin Iced Tea Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 chamomile tea bag

  • 100ml pink gin

  • 100ml spiced rum

  • 100ml elderflower cordial

  • 100ml pink grapefruit juice

  • ice

  • thyme sprigs, to garnish

Instructions:

  1. Brew the chamomile tea bag with 500ml boiling water, steep for 2-3 mins or following pack instructions. Remove the bag and leave to cool for 5 mins. 

  2. Pour into a large jug with the pink gin, rum, elderflower cordial and juice. Add ice and stir, then add the thyme sprigs and stir again before serving. 

Mac ‘n Cheese Donuts Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup small elbow macaroni

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • about 1 ½ cups of sharp cheddar

  • garlic powder to taste

  • 3 eggs

  • enough vegetable oil to create at least 3 inches of oil for frying

  • white cheddar

  • sage

  • bacon

  • donut pan

  • food processor

  • pan at least 3 inches deep for frying

Instructions:

  1. Bring water to a rolling boil, add elbow macaroni and cook until al dente. When the noodles are cooked, strain and add in milk and cheese. Mix until evenly blended together.

  2. Refrigerate the macaroni until cool, at least two hours. While your macaroni is chilling, get to work preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and greasing your donut pans.

  3. Add one cup of cooled macaroni and one egg to the food processor. For every one cup of macaroni add one egg.

  4. Place the egg and macaroni mixture in a donut pan and bake for 25 minutes.

  5. While your donuts are baking, bring oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Carefully add in donuts, and fry on each side until golden.

  6. Place the fried donuts on a cooling rack, and add shredded white cheddar cheese while hot to create a glazed frosting look.

  7. Add bacon as a topping or any other toppings you would like.
